Cognizant Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be aware of the eligibility requirements before applying for the off-campus drive.

  • Graduates and postgraduates, including BE, B.Tech, MBA, MCA, ME, and M.Tech, are eligible.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 60% or above in B.Tech, Class X and XII 
  • There should be no backlogs at the time of the Cognizant recruitment drive
  • Education gap up to 1 year is allowed

Cognizant Selection Process

The selection procedure is divided into various rounds listed below.

  • Online Test (General Aptitude)
  • Technical Interview
  • HR Interview

The candidates must first complete the online test. The test includes questions from different topics. Candidates can review the Cognizant placement practice test papers on our website to perform well in the exam. Those who pass all of the rounds with a high score can be hired for the applied position.

Note: The Company can change the written exam at any time.

Documents Needed

  • Your most recent and updated résumé
  • 3 to 4 passport-size photographs
  • 10th and 12th-grade mark sheets
  • Original and photocopies of certificates from graduation and post-graduation

Cognizant Online Test Pattern (AMCAT)

Cognizant uses the AMCAT platform to conduct the initial round of on-campus recruitment virtually. This exam will be adaptive, and there will be no negative grading.

Cut-Off Marks for Cognizant Test

The average cut-off scores for Cognizant placement papers are 75 percentiles for each section, and you must score more than 65 percentiles in each section to advance to the next round.

Technical interview

Passing the written exam qualifies you for the Technical Interview. You will be asked questions on technical topics.
