Introduction: If you are applying for a Business Development Associate position, you will have to go through two rounds of interviews 1. Group Discussion 2. HR Interview
HR Interviews sometimes may be conducted in two phases 1. Telephonic Interview 2. Personal Interview via Zoon or any other online platform.
When they schedule the interview in your city, they will inform you by phone, text message, and email within 3–4 days.
Rounds of Interview
The first round will consist of a GD (Group Discussion) that may or may not be cantered or based on current affairs. Topics can be generic.
The second round will consist of a thorough personal / HR interview. It will be a long one, lasting about 30–40 minutes.

Group discussion – The first round of Byju’s off-campus drive selection process is a group discussion. The interviewers will divide the candidates into groups based on the number of applicants. In the GD round, there will be approximately 10 candidates (including you). They will ask you all to discuss a topic.

Note: Byju’s may sometimes choose to skip this GD and conduct two rounds of personal / HR interviews instead.
Personal Interview:
You may have two rounds 1. Telephonic 2. Zoom
This round assesses candidates' communication, confidence, and interpersonal skills.
It is important to be honest and confident in this round as this is more of an elimination round with only a few candidates remaining (5 out of 20).
Key Points to Note
1. The interviewers will ask you questions about yourself, your education, family details, career goals, and career experience, if any.
2. Byju’s focuses a lot on your career goals; therefore, you must be very confident and clear in answering this question.
3. Be honest with your answers and try your best not to provide any misinformation.
4. Read the Job Description carefully and learn more about the role description.

The first round of the HR interview will assess your communication abilities and confidence. Typical HR Questions are:

2nd Round: They will see how confident you are to handle a difficult situation. Also, they will look at your creative thinking to see if you can market or sell a product.

Here are some tips on how to crack Byju's interview.
- Be well-dressed and at ease: Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable, but keep it as simple as possible with the fewest accessories possible.
- Be punctual: Because your first job interview is one of the most important days of your life, make sure you arrive on time.
- Make an effort to interact with the HR manager. Do not come across as boring. Always keep a positive attitude.
